Reading for days

I know I said I would be doing something productive but...
I just like reading.
I do have a note of caution though: reading

1. 'Hogfather'
2. 'The Handmaid's Tale'
3. 'Jane Eyre'

in just over a week and a half will do funny things to your thought processes.

'The Handmaid's Tale' got me to create an inner monologue. I had space in my head to create and play with thoughts, because the book was written as the protagonists stream of consciousness. This coupled with the fact that she was a deep but disjointed thinker made it a very refreshing read.
'Hogfather', was a Pratchett. It was witty, deep and scathing. More scathing than a typical disk world novel because of the overall hipocracy of Christmas idologies. Reading this made my mind go in more critical and idealistic directions. The incongous nature of thinking in critical and idealistic directions at the same time is not lost on me.
'Jane Eyre' was my Pandora. I was inspired by the openess and straighforward way of talking thoughout the book. 'Jane Eyre' is in wonderful contrast to the kind of writing I normaly go for (things by Jane Austin and Oscar Wild). I normaly go for linguistic acrobatics rather than sprinting to the point.
The result of my reading these three books has been a shapening of the way I think and commuicate.
Verbal sparing has been much more fun in the last couple of days.
I really need to get on to that cash book though.

What to do first

I have lots to do. This is good it means I don't need to spend any money on entertainment I have plenty to keep me occupied. I might just need to not start any new projects for a while though. I will Blog about these projects as I do them.

10. Make the quillow I meant to make years ago
11. Make an all new quillow
12. Finnish knitting the tea cosy for my Mum
13. Knit something else to use up my wool
14. Scarp book the scraps from my son and daughters life so far
15. Scarp book of my wedding
16. Learn a new craft
17. Practice my Flute
18. Make happy surprises for my husband
    
19. Write more blogs ;-)

The random beginning

Not much to say.
It's just I enjoy so many blogs and I wanted to be a part of it. They have a way of connecting you which is so valuable when it is difficult to catch up with people via the solid version of you.
